In the late 1850's, Baron von Mueller, government botanist of Victoria was responsible for planting the Melbourne and Ballarat Botanical Gardens. Among the the species planted were Californian Redwood, Sequoia. Cole Clark have been using some of the trees that the Barron was responsible for planting over 150 years ago throughout Victoria including Jamieson and Ballarat. This is an extremely resonant tone wood and is striking to look at. This guitar comes with a River She Oak fretboard & bridge. Most guitars are made from 100% sustainable timbers. All models come with the Cole Clark Patented 3 Way pickup system unless specified. Includes hard case.

Cole Clark steel string acoustic guitars are the only main stream acoustic to use a Spanish heel or integral neck construction. This means the neck is glued to the face along with the sides and the back so the neck is one piece all the way to the sound hole. On other guitars, the body is made then the neck attached, mostly with a bolt or dove tail join. Due to our method, the sound is unique. Cole Clark also has a carved top and back and uses a ridge system to join the sides to the top and back instead of kerfing.
