Created in 1987 as a 25th anniversary celebration of Marshall Amplification's founding and to celebrate Jim Marshall's 50 years in the music business, the Silver Jubilee amplifier series made waves with its stunning silver vinyl and chrome-plated styling and cutting-edge feature set. The Marshall 2555X Silver Jubilee's 100-watt amplifier head boasts that same classic look, functionality and sonic characteristics of its predecessor, and the one-way channel PEDL-90003 footswitch provides extra convenience and precision control.

This two-channel valve amplifier head boasts pentode/triode switching to reduce the power output as needed, and the unique preamp circuit offers three gain modes - clean, rhythm clip and footswitchable lead channel for extra versatility and control. The bass, middle, treble and presence controls on this Vintage Reissue series amplifier head offer broad tonal variation, which is one of the characteristic that made Marshall's original design a collector's item. Combine this 2555X head with the 2551AV and 255BV 4-inch x 12-inch speaker cabinets to reproduce the look and sound of the original with an Silver Jubilee series reissue stack.
