The special edition Chapman ML1 Modern, finished in Rainstorm, is a tonal monster, with a coil-splitting double humbucker setup that's perfectly comfortable accompanying you into any genre. The ML1 Modern combines power with tonal flexibility thanks to a pair of coil-splitting Seymour Duncan humbuckers.
The ML1 Baritone features a perfectly matched pair of USA Seymour Duncan humbucker pickups; a Pegasus in the bridge and a Sentient in the neck. Due to extended scale length (28") and lower tuning of baritone guitars, they can sometimes sound muddy and lack clarity. This is definitely not the case with the ML1 though! These brutal, yet articulate pickups deliver crushing tones with plenty of definition so you can be sure your riffs will cut through in a mix. A push/pull tone pot engages a coil split for some spanky single coil tones, making the ML1 a surprisingly versatile guitar.
With a Pegasus in the bridge and a Sentient in the neck, these humbuckers dish out plenty of powerful punch. Pull-out the tone knob for coil-splitting and add refined, crystal-clear and articulate tones to your palette.
The ML1 Modern Baritone features a Mahogany body with a stunning Poplar Burl Veneer top that delivers a rich mid focussed tone with plenty of sustain. The contoured body feels extremely comfortable when played either standing up or sitting down and it works with you, rather than against you.
A recessed bolt-on Maple neck and Macassar Ebony fretboard produce a bright and snappy tone that perfectly complements the Mahogany body, and the rolled fretboard edges ensure a comfortable playing experience every time. The back of the neck has a satin finish so it won't become sticky when you're playing in hot, sweaty situations.
The ML1 Modern Baritone features a Chapman String-Through Hardtail bridge for optimal tuning and stability. At the other end of the guitar is a set of Chapman Locking 18:1 tuners which will ensure the ML1 stays in tuning when you're banging out those heavy, bone rattling riffs!
