Akai MPK249 Performance USB MIDI Keyboard Controller

The Akai MPK249 performance USB MIDI keyboard controller combines proprietary software integration, enhanced workflow and core technologies. This Pro Series model comes fully loaded with virtual instruments, effect plugins and DAWs that let you enhance the electronic sounds you play on this instrument. This device uses 49 semi-weighted keys with aftertouch, eight assignable knobs to vary your sounds and faders to create softer notes. The 49 semi-weighted keys give you expert control over each note.

The 16 MPC-style pads with RGB feedback let you choose your instrument with the push of a button. Three banks expand the number of knobs, faders and switches to up to 24 each. Add in four pad banks to expand these up to 64 total, giving you a wide range of versatility. Even better, Akai optimised the MPK249 to interface directly with your Mac or PC thanks to USB power combined with plug-and-play connectivity. Just plug this into your computer and you're ready to record on whatever compatible software you have.
