The Yamaha DTX482K Electronic Drum Kit perfectly complements the DTX402 series with a new Pad configuration. All models come with the DTX402 module, which comes with 287 high-quality, expressive drum and percussion sounds, 128 keyboard sounds, 10 customisable drum kits and nine reverb types. Different music genre selections, such as pop, rock and jazz, as well as the training and learning functions, are clearly labelled on the module for easy navigation. The module also includes 10 unique built-in training exercises, along with a record function, that improve techniques for drummers of any skill level.

The DTX402 sounds combine years of experience creating authentic, top-quality drum sounds with 10 built-in drum kits, including acoustic effects and electronic sounds to help you find the perfect voice. Based on a DTX452K, this Kit comes with a professional XP80 Snare Pad featuring Yamaha’s ground breaking Textured Cellular Silicone playing surface. This snare pad has 3 zones for perfect recognition of headshots, rimshots and cross stick sounds with a soft, comfortable and realistic response. In addition to this the new DTX482K configuration also includes a 3rd Cymbal Pad, and Rack Attachments to expand playing possibilities.

Like all DTX402 models in the series, the DTX482K is compatible with the free DTX402 Touch App. Available for iOS and Android, the app allows the drummer to tailor drum kits to particular sound and setup requirements. It also unlocks access to training features and video tutorials for practice and a challenge mode for drummers of different levels of proficiency. The Rec’n’Share App enables musicians to jam along to songs from their library, record their performances and share them online.
