Covered in stealthy black lacquered tweed and black grille cloth, this ‘68 Custom Princeton Reverb amp has a look that is simultaneously traditional and modern. Combine that with the iconic sound of a 12” Celestion® Blue alnico speaker and you’ve got the perfect amp for your living room or studio.
Small, light and moderately powered, the ’68 Custom Princeton Reverb is a longtime recording and gigging favorite, thanks to its pure, authentic Fender tone, reverb and tremolo. The ’68 Custom Princeton Reverb also has modified tone circuitry that plays well with pedals while reduced negative feedback means the amp breaks up quicker, while still providing plenty of dynamics.
Unique Features: Black lacquered tweed covering, Black grille cloth, ‘65-style Black faceplate, White amp jewel and a 12” 8-ohm Celestion Blue speaker and “Limited Edition” FSR badge.
Other Features: Dual 6V6 output tubes, one 5AR4 rectifier tube, three 12AX7 preamp tubes, one 12AT7 tube, tube-driven Fender reverb, tube vibrato and a two-button footswitch for reverb and vibrato on/off control.
