The 5mm seamless acrylic shell produces a fat, punchy attack with quick resonance—the kind of tone that cuts through on stage or records cleanly in the studio. This snare sits at the sweet spot between affordable and pro–spec.

Build quality matters here. The transparent acrylic shell is extruded without seams, eliminating weak points and allowing consistent vibration across the drum body. Hardware includes DW's MAG™ throw–off system with integrated magnet and horizontal tension adjustment for smooth, repeatable on–the–fly tuning changes. Mini–turret lugs and True–Pitch tuning threads reduce slippage during performance. Chrome steel triple–flange hoops at 3.0mm thickness handle the tension demand of both light touch and hard hitting.
