Tama's Stewart Copeland Signature Snare delivers the tight, articulate crack that defined The Police's drum sound. Built from brass shell with a 14" diameter and 5" depth, this drum bridges studio control with live projection. Copeland collaborated directly with Tama's design team to specify a snare that responds to both delicate ghost notes and driving backbeats without losing clarity.

The brass shell construction provides bright, cutting frequencies with natural sustain that cuts through dense mixes or loud band settings. At 2.084 kg, the drum balances responsiveness with enough mass to generate genuine tone. The 5" depth sits in the sweet spot between traditional jazz proportions and modern rock punch, making it equally at home on a studio session or touring rig. Shell dimensions measure 58 cm wide by 29 cm long, fitting standard cymbal stands and drum racks.
