Delivering authentic tone and response with newly developed BOSS algorithms, each effect in the PX–1 is powered by a dedicated DSP engine to replicate the original pedal with stunning accuracy. Musicians can reconfigure the pedal to load one of 16 onboard effects at a time, including classics like the OD–1, DS–1, CE–2, and DD–2. Further effects can be added via Model Pass purchases in the BOSS Effect Loader app, ensuring a constantly expanding universe of sounds.

Modern connectivity and control options make the PX–1 a flexible centrepiece for any rig. Stereo inputs and outputs, tap tempo, TRS MIDI clock sync, and external control support with footswitches or an expression pedal enable deep creative performance.
