The Kala Revelator™ Night Owl Tenor Ukulele represents a departure from conventional ukulele architecture, drawing inspiration from U.K. luthier Pete Howlett's original designs. Construction centres on a solid acacia top paired with okoume body and neck, finished in gloss with rosewood fingerboard and bone nut & saddle. The Night Owl sound hole sits forward toward the player's ear for immediate tonal feedback, whilst the florentine cutaway provides access to all 22 frets. Hardware includes black open-gear tuners, a passive piezo pickup system, chrome strap button, and genuine mother-of-pearl headstock inlay.
