The Cole Clark Culprit 3 SS is a semi–hollow electric built on Cole Clark's proprietary True Balance magnetic pickup technology, originally developed to even out output across hybrid guitar strings. Available in white with a tortoise shell scratch plate, this model features 2 single–coil pickups paired with a 25.5 inch scale length and a 12 inch fretboard radius. The Australian–made construction emphasises tonal balance over raw output, making it suited to players who prioritise articulation and harmonic clarity across extended playing sessions.
Construction centres on an Australian sustainable timber body paired with an Australian blackwood neck, rosewood fretboard with abalone inlay dots, and Graph Tech Tusq nut cut to 44mm width. Electronics run through Grover machine heads and a Wilkinson bridge, strung with 10–46 gauge wire to support both standard tuning and half–step variations. The nitro satin finish protects the wood whilst preserving natural grain visibility. Included is a rectangle tweed case designed for gigging protection.
