The Cole Clark Hollow Baby HSS is a semi-hollow electric guitar that brings the Melbourne maker's True Balance magnetic pickup technology to a three-single-coil platform. This Shell Pink model features a cream pickguard and ships with Australian Blackwood neck construction, rosewood fretboard with 6mm abalone dot inlays, and a Wilkinson tremolo bridge. The patent-pending True Balance system calibrates each pickup to deliver equal output across all six strings, addressing a long-standing issue in traditional electric guitar design where certain strings dominate the mix. The HSS configuration pairs a humbucker in the bridge position with two single coils in middle and neck positions, wired through True Balance circuitry that equalises string-to-string response. The body is constructed from Australian sustainable timbers including Bunya, Blackwood, Quandong, Silky Oak, or Queensland Maple, finished in nitro satin. Hardware includes Grover machine heads, a Graph Tech Tusq nut, and factory-fitted 10-46 gauge strings. The 25.5-inch scale length, 12-inch fretboard radius, and 44mm nut width align with traditional Stratocaster-style dimensions. A rectangular tweed case is included.
