Cole Clark's Hollow Baby SSS is a semi-hollow electric guitar combining Australian-made craftsmanship with True Balance technology-a proprietary pickup system engineered to deliver even output across all six strings. The HSS configuration pairs a humbucker at the neck with articulate single-coils in the middle and bridge positions, offering tonal range from warm jazz tones to bright lead work. The neck is carved from Australian Blackwood with a Rosewood fretboard featuring 6mm abalone dot inlays, while the body draws from sustainable local species including Bunya, Quandong, Silky Oak, and Queensland Maple. At 25.5 inches scale length with a 12-inch radius and 44mm nut width, the Hollow Baby accommodates a range of hand sizes and playing approaches. Grover machine heads and a Graph Tech Tusq nut deliver reliable tuning stability, while the Wilkinson tremolo bridge handles expressive pitch bends without sacrificing return accuracy. The nitro satin black finish resists the plasticky appearance of polyurethane while remaining easy to maintain, and a transparent scratch plate lets the timber grain show through. Ships with a rectangle tweed hardcase and 10-46 gauge strings fitted.
