The Cole Clark SAN1EC is a Studio Grand Auditorium acoustic–electric built around a cutaway design and all–solid timber construction. Cole Clark's engineering prioritises recording and studio work, balancing portability with tonal depth. The SAN1EC pairs a PG3 pickup system with a strip piezo element for amplified performance, making it well–suited to both tracking sessions and live signal reinforcement where authentic acoustic tone matters.
Construction centres on African Mahogany for the top, back, and sides, paired with a Eucalypt fretboard and bridge that contribute warmth and sustain across the mid–range. The 44mm nut width and 25.5” scale length establish comfortable playability; Grover machine heads and Graph Tech Tusq nut and saddle hardware ensure stable tuning and clarity. Phosphor bronze 12–53 strings ship pre–installed. A poly satin sunburst finish protects the timber whilst maintaining visual appeal, whilst the included grey gig bag and supplied pickguard provide practical protection for transport and performance.
