Epiphone's 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue channels the DNA of Gibson's most coveted vintage guitar. Developed alongside Gibson Custom, this mahogany-bodied electric captures the exact specifications that made the original 1959 a favourite of Peter Green, Kirk Hammett, and Joe Bonamassa. The defining feature is the 1959 Rounded Medium C neck profile-thicker than the 1960 model that followed-paired with a one-piece mahogany neck and long tenon construction for rock-solid tuning stability and sustain. The body combines solid mahogany with a carved maple cap topped by AAA flamed maple veneer, finished in Vintage Gloss for authentic ageing patina. Electronics consist of two USA Gibson Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico 3 magnets, hand-wired to CTS potentiometers, Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors, and Switchcraft components. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and historical aluminium tailpiece complete the signal chain. Mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays, aged mother-of-pearl headstock logo, and side dot markers replicate original 1959 proportions. Nickel Epiphone Deluxe Single Ring Keystone tuners and cream binding on top and fretboard round out the vintage credentials. A brown hardshell case with pink plush interior is included.FeaturesSolid mahogany body with AAA flamed maple veneer and cream bindingOne-piece mahogany neck, 1959 Rounded Medium C profile, 628.65 mm scaleRosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlaysTwo USA Gibson Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico 3 magnetsCTS potentiometers, Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors, Switchcraft hardwareABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and historical aluminium tailpieceNickel Epiphone Deluxe Single Ring Keystone tuners, Vintage Gloss finishBrown hardshell case with pink interior and Gibson Custom branding included
