The Epiphone Riviera is a semi-hollow guitar with roots in the early 1960s, built on the same ES body design that attracted blues legends Robben Ford and Otis Rush, Lou Reed, and Nick Valensi of The Strokes. This Sparkling Burgundy model combines layered maple construction with Epiphone's PRO Mini Humbuckers and Fishman S-Core acoustic pickup, designed to handle everything from jazz chords to rock leads without losing its natural resonance.The body uses layered maple for top, back, and sides with single-ply cream binding and a classic 3-layer pickguard. The mahogany neck follows a rounded C profile over a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with 628 mm scale length. Electronics run through dual volume and tone controls with CTS potentiometers and a 3-way toggle. Hardware includes a LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge, Frequensator tailpiece for natural vibrato, and vintage Deluxe tuners. The 43 mm Graph Tech nut handles the strings at the headstock. A premium gig bag is included.
