This bolt‐on bass combines a lightweight poplar body with a roasted maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, creating a platform that balances structural stability with warm, rounded tonal characteristics. The roasted maple construction provides enhanced rigidity and improved resistance to seasonal changes, while the rosewood fingerboard offers smooth playability and a slightly mellowed high‐end response.

Equipped with LPB neck and LJB bridge pickups in an active configuration, the SURVEYOR‐204DX offers versatile sonic range from deep, supportive lows through to articulate, focused mids. The electronics layout features Volume, Pickup Balance and Tone Boost controls for flexible tonal shaping during performance.
