The USA V-II FR could not be more cool looking, nor will you find a more high-quality, well-equipped V-style guitar from any manufacturer at any price. Crafted at the ESP USA facility in Southern California, the USA V-II FR takes the aggressive offset V shape to an entire new level of quality and playability.

Built with neck-thru-body construction for the ultimate in sustain, it offers an extra-thin U-shaped three-piece maple neck with mahogany body wings. The USA V-II FR includes an ebony fingerboard with offset abalone dot inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.

This guitar’s complementary gold hardware includes a Floyd Rose Original double-locking tremolo, Gotoh Magnum Lock tuners and Dunlop Straplok buttons. These are complemented by the brushed gold covers on the USA V-II FR’s set of outstanding active direct-mount EMG81X and EG 85X pickups.

The renowned combination of the EMG 81/85 takes a step up with the addition of the X Series preamp, giving these pickups a more dynamic range along with increased headroom while keeping the more traditional string-to-string balance. The 81X will make leads slice right through even the densest mix, while the alnico magnets of the 85X provide a muscular growl and smooth tones that enable tones for everything from the blues to the most extreme metal.

The USA V-II FR Sapphire Black Metallic includes a custom ESP USA form-fitting hardshell case, and an official Certificate of Authenticity from ESP.
