EVH Wolfgang Special Baked Maple Ebony Fingerboard (Stealth Black)

Built to Eddie Van Halen's exacting specifications, the Wolfgang Special combines premium tonewoods with high‐performance hardware for players who demand precision and power. The basswood body features an arched top paired with a graphite‐reinforced bolt‐on quartersawn baked maple neck, carved and rolled with a hand‐rubbed satin urethane finish on the back for exceptional playability. The 12?‐16? compound radius ebony fingerboard (baked maple on Gloss Black) hosts 22 jumbo frets with pearloid dot inlays, whilst a convenient spoke wheel at the base of the neck makes truss rod adjustments effortless.

Direct‐mounted EVH® Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups provide dynamic, articulate voicing with endless sustain, perfect for powerful chords and blazing lead work. The EVH‐branded Floyd Rose® locking tremolo system works in tandem with a Floyd Rose locking nut for rock‐solid tuning stability, even during extreme pitch changes. The innovative EVH D‐Tuna® allows instant drop‐D tuning and back with pinpoint accuracy. Volume control features a 500K EVH Bourns® low friction pot with treble bleed circuit for smooth swells, while the 250K Bourns high friction tone pot prevents accidental adjustments during aggressive playing.

Available in Smoked Mesquite, Caution Yellow, Ivory, and Stealth Black with baked maple necks and ebony fingerboards, plus Gloss Black with baked maple neck and fingerboard. Each guitar includes an EVH Wolfgang/Striped Series gig bag, with optional hardshell case available separately.
