The American Vintage II 1973 Stratocaster® captures the unmistakable look and feel of the early ’70s, when CBS-era design elements had become standard and Fender instruments dominated stages, studios and television screens worldwide. An ash body finished in gloss polyurethane is paired with a comfortable “C”-shaped maple neck, available with either a maple or rosewood fingerboard, featuring a 7.25" radius and vintage tall frets for authentic playability.

A trio of Pure Vintage ’73 staggered-pole single-coil Strat® pickups delivers the bright, punchy tones associated with the era, while period-correct details include a large headstock with dual string trees, a “Bullet”-style truss rod nut and a three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt™ adjustment. Vintage-style synchronised tremolo hardware with bent steel saddles and a cold-rolled steel block completes the package. Supplied in a vintage-style black case with orange interior, this Stratocaster embodies Fender design at its most recognisable.
