The Fender® American Vintage II series delivers meticulously accurate recreations of the instruments that reshaped modern music. Built with period-correct bodies, necks and hardware, premium finishes and carefully voiced, year-specific pickups, each model reflects Fender craftsmanship exactly as it stood in its original era.

Introduced in 1972 as the flagship of the Telecaster® range, the Telecaster Deluxe marked a major shift for Fender as the first solid-body Telecaster to feature dual humbuckers. The American Vintage II 1975 Telecaster Deluxe faithfully recreates this landmark design, complete with a large Stratocaster®-style headstock, comfort-contoured belly cut and elongated pickguard housing two Wide-Range humbucking pickups. Dual volume and tone controls are paired with a three-way toggle switch mounted on the upper bout, just as on the original models.

To authentically recreate the sound of the era, Fender has revived CuNiFe magnets an essential component of the original Wide-Range humbuckers that had been out of production since 1981. A ’75 “C”-shaped hard rock maple neck with a 9.5" radius maple fingerboard and medium jumbo frets delivers a comfortable, confident feel. Period-correct appointments include a “Bullet” truss rod nut, three-bolt neck plate with Micro-Tilt™ adjustment and a Pure Vintage six-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge with stainless steel block saddles. Supplied in a vintage-style black case with orange interior, this Telecaster Deluxe captures Fender’s bold mid-’70s evolution in exacting detail.
