The Gene Simmons EB-0 Bass is a bold signature model from the Gibson Custom Shop, built with the same attention to detail and authenticity that defines their finest instruments. Based on Simmons’ modified 1959 EB-0 – famously used during KISS’s explosive 1970s performances – this short-scale powerhouse blends vintage style with heavy rock attitude.
It features a mahogany double-cutaway body in the classic EB shape, a 30.5″ scale length, and custom appointments inspired by Gene’s own modifications. These include a relocated pickup for tighter low-end punch, a reshaped neck with custom profile, Grover® tuners, high-mass bridge with through-body or top-load stringing, and a custom pickguard. Finished in Nitrocellulose VOS and bound in single-ply white, it stands as both a player’s instrument and a collector’s dream. A Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case is also included.
