The Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble delivers all the iconic tone and performance of Gibson's regular Les Paul Standard 60s models, with refined vintage-inspired appointments that elevate its appeal even further.
This limited-run edition sets itself apart with a pair of Burstbucker 61R and 61T pickups, left uncovered to show off their Double Classic White bobbins and powered by standard Alnico 5 magnets. It also features unique Vintage gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finishes that mimic the soft fade of aged instruments from the 50s and 60s. Each burst is hand-sprayed, ensuring every guitar has its own distinctive character.
True to the 60s Standard design, it sports a solid mahogany body (non-weight-relieved) with an AA figured maple top and cream binding. The SlimTaper; mahogany neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets and acrylic trapezoid inlays. Hardware includes an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover Rotomatic tuners with Kidney buttons, and aged gold Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors and dial pointers.
The electronics are hand-wired in the Gibson Pickup Shop with Orange Drop capacitors and audio taper pots, delivering smooth control and rich tone. With only 500 guitars available in each finish, the Les Paul Standard 60s Double Trouble is a collector-grade instrument made for players who demand tone, looks and exclusivity.
