The Les Paul™ Standard 60s Mahogany Top retains the classic design that made it relevant, played, and loved – shaping sound across generations and genres of music. It pays tribute to Gibson's Golden Era of Innovation and brings authenticity back to life. The Les Paul Standard 60s Mahogany Top has a solid mahogany body with a mahogany top replacing the usual maple top. This is similar to some Les Paul Customs, many of which also feature all-mahogany bodies, resulting in a slightly warmer, more midrange-focused tone.

Everything else you love about the Les Paul Standard 60s remains the same, including the mahogany neck with a 60s-style SlimTaper™ profile and a rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with a classic ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, aluminium Stop Bar tailpiece, Grover® Rotomatic® tuners with Kidney Buttons, and black Top Hat knobs with silver reflectors.

The Burstbucker™ 61R and 61T pickups are loaded with Alnico 2 magnets and wired to audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors for an authentic vintage tone. A hardshell case completes the package, making it perfect for the stage and studio.
