The Gibson SJ-200 Left-Hand Elegant Koa delivers the flagship jumbo's commanding voice in a configuration built specifically for left-handed players. Koa back and sides pair with a AAA Sitka spruce top, combining the tonal warmth and complexity koa develops over time with the clarity and projection spruce provides. A three-rope marquetry strip runs down the centre of the koa back, while the tortoiseshell-coloured pickguard features abalone dot inlays and a silverfoil stamp that shifts colours under stage lighting. The mahogany neck is carved to a comfortable Round profile and topped with a bound rosewood fretboard fitted with 20 frets and graduated crown inlays in abalone. L.R. Baggs Anthem electronics combine an under-saddle Element pickup with an internal microphone, offering independent volume and mix controls positioned at the soundhole edge for adjustment without disrupting performance. The rosewood two-bar moustache bridge holds a TUSQ saddle and bridge pins, while gold-plated Grover Rotomatic tuners anchor at the headstock. Scale length measures 647.7mm. A Gibson Custom hardshell case is included.
