Gibson's SJ-200 Standard has defined the flat-top acoustic category since 1937, establishing a sonic and aesthetic benchmark that remains unmatched. This left-handed variant preserves the design's core identity: a distinctive two-bar Moustache™ bridge, mother-of-pearl graduated crown fretboard inlays, and bound rosewood fretboard with 20 standard frets. The guitar's reputation spans studio recordings and touring stages, from country to rock contexts. Built with AAA figured maple back and sides paired against a solid Sitka spruce top, it delivers projection and tonal clarity across a broad frequency range.

Construction centres on a two-piece maple neck with walnut stringer and rounded profile for ergonomic comfort and structural integrity. The bound headstock features inlaid mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and crown detail. Hardware includes gold Grover® Rotomatic tuners paired with a TUSQ® nut for stable intonation and smooth operation. The factory-equipped L.R. Baggs™ Anthem mic/pickup system integrates soundhole-mounted controls, enabling stage-ready amplification without visual obstruction. Gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish in white provides durability and visual presence. A Gibson hardshell case is included.
