Gibson's Victory Baritone brings the cult 80s double-cutaway design into extended-range territory with a 28" scale length that bridges standard guitar and bass frequencies. Tuned B to B from the factory with .013-.062" light baritone strings, this mahogany-bodied electric delivers the low-end punch and articulation demanded by heavy modern styles. The glued-in mahogany neck features a compound radius ebony fretboard with 24 medium jumbo frets, while the pickguard-free body and rear-routed electronics maintain the sleek aesthetic of the revived Victory series. Two Gibson ELEV8 humbucker pickups-wound with custom-gauge wire and loaded with Alnico 8 magnets-provide powerful, focused output without sacrificing dynamic control or clarity across the extended frequency range. Push/pull controls on both master volume and tone pots enable coil splitting plus inner/outer coil selection when split, working alongside the three-way toggle to deliver extensive tonal variation. Chrome hardware includes a fully adjustable Tune-O-Matic bridge with Stop Bar tailpiece, GraphTech nut, and Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners on the Explorer-style headstock. Gibson hardshell case included.
