This instrument retains the core architecture that defines the BTB series: neck-through construction for superior sustain and resonance, a 35-inch scale length that tightens low-end response, and a zero fret for consistent open-string tone. The result is a bass that matches Andreolis technically demanding style without the price tag of flagship models. The BTB6 neck runs through a five-piece maple and walnut laminate with a purpleheart fretboard, offering structural rigidity and visual contrast across its medium-fret layout. Okoume body wings keep weight manageable while maintaining acoustic properties. Electronics consist of passive Ω1 pickups in both positions, routed through a three-band EQ with volume, balance, bass, middle, and treble controls. Hardware includes an MR5 mono-rail bridge that isolates each string for improved clarity, black Ibanez machine heads, and a 54mm nut width. The Weathered Black satin polyurethane finish pairs with white pearloid block inlays and all-black hardware.
