This signature model for Death Angel founder and lead guitarist Rob Cavestany brings his radical X-shaped design – first sketched on a napkin as a teenager – into the Pro Series range. The nyatoh body features an aggressive offset profile with a deeply sculpted C-cut lower horn that opens up full access to all 24 jumbo frets. The through-body maple neck incorporates both a scarf joint and graphite-reinforcement rods, delivering exceptional stability and sustain under the most punishing playing conditions.

The ebony fingerboard spans a 12″–16″ compound radius, transitioning from comfortable chording positions to lightning-fast lead work higher up the neck. Pearloid sharkfin inlays and Luminlay® side dots provide visual reference in low-light stages. EMG® pickups handle the sonic assault: an 81 humbucking bridge unit cuts through dense mixes with searing intensity, while the HA neck pickup delivers extended frequency response from articulate chords to bright single-coil snap. A Floyd Rose® 1000 Series double-locking tremolo handles dive-bomb abuse, backed by Jackson® dual-locking strap buttons and straightforward three-way switching with single volume control.
