The Yamaha Revstar RSS02T refines the look, sound, and feel of the original Revstar guitar series. With a chambered mahogany body and maple cap, it combines resonance and balance with a striking design that is both modern and timeless. Developed through Yamaha's exclusive Acoustic Design process, the chambering enhances tone, reduces weight, and ensures long-term comfort without sacrificing sustain or clarity.

A carbon-reinforced neck provides rock-solid stability, complemented by a custom tailpiece design that improves tone and tuning reliability. The RSS02T is equipped with dual VP5 P90-style pickups, voiced with Alnico V magnets to deliver warm cleans, articulate midrange, and dynamic drive. This configuration offers players a unique tonal character that sits between humbuckers and single coils.

The electronics include a 5–way pickup selector and Yamaha's passive Focus Switch, expanding the tonal palette without the need for active circuitry. This gives the RSS02T the flexibility to cover everything from vintage–inspired sounds to bold, contemporary tones, making it a versatile choice for any style of music.
