The Spector Euro 5 Custom is a five-string bass that brings Custom Shop-grade appointments to the Czech-built Euro Series. Finished in Violet Burst Gloss over a highly figured Poplar Burl top, this instrument features neck-through construction with a three-piece North American Maple neck and European Ash body wings. Active EMG X Series pickups feed the new Spector Legacy preamp, developed with Darkglass Electronics to capture the signature midrange growl heard on decades of recordings while expanding tonal range beyond the traditional Spector voicing. The 24-fret Ebony fingerboard carries laminated Abalone Crown inlays across its five-string span. Neck-through design delivers enhanced sustain and upper-fret access, while the lightweight aluminium bridge ensures stable intonation across the extended low B string. The EMG X Series humbuckers provide high-output clarity with minimal noise, and the Spector Legacy preamp offers active EQ control that ranges from vintage thick thump to modern scooped aggression.
