Squier FSR Affinity Series Stratocaster Junior HSS (Candy Apple Red)

The Squier FSR Affinity Series Stratocaster Junior HSS in Candy Apple Red brings the iconic Strat platform to younger players and those seeking a compact electric. Built with a reduced-size body and a short 24 scale length, this model addresses playability concerns for smaller hands without sacrificing the core Stratocaster architecture. The HSS pickup configuration pairs a humbucking bridge unit with single-coil neck and middle pickups, covering everything from warm lead tones to glassy cleans. This FSR finish adds visual appeal to an already player-focused design. The slim C-shaped neck profile keeps fretting comfortable across the entire 24 scale, reducing hand fatigue during extended sessions. A 2-point tremolo bridge provides stable pitch variation with improved return-to-pitch behaviour compared to vintage-style units. Sealed die-cast tuning machines feature split shafts that simplify string changes while maintaining tuning accuracy under aggressive playing. The lightweight body construction reduces shoulder strain, making this Strat practical for hour-long rehearsals and stage work. Five-way switching unlocks the full tonal range of the three-pickup layout, from thick humbucker drive to articulate single-coil chime.
