Tanglewood's Crossroads TC3E is an orchestra-sized acoustic guitar designed by Michael Sanden, chief design consultant for Tanglewood and creator of the Sanden Guitar company in Sweden. Drawing inspiration from 1930s American instruments, this guitar prioritises authentic tonality and build quality without compromise. The all-mahogany construction top, back, and sides delivers warm, balanced resonance characteristic of vintage acoustics, while the whiskey burst satin finish evokes that historic era. The TC3E features an Eboncore fingerboard, Tanglewood TEQ-MX active EQ, and comes strung with bronze light gauge strings for responsive playability. Sanden's approach emphasises precision bracing patterns and carefully selected tonewoods that flex and respond to attack, ensuring each instrument develops its own sonic character.
