Taylor's Gold Label 512e is a Grand Concert acoustic–electric built on classic tonewoods and throwback design. This instrument pairs solid Neo-Tropical Mahogany back and sides with a torrefied Sitka Spruce top, yielding a focused midrange with controlled overtones and woody, dry character. The 24-7/8" scale and fanned V-Class bracing system enhance volume, sustain and low-end presence, whilst a long-tenon Action Control Neck simplifies setup and maximises resonance across the 1-3/4" nut width.
Construction centres on West African Crelicam Ebony fretboard and bridge with Honduran Rosewood Curve Wing bridge for tonal clarity and intonation stability. Electronics employ an LR Baggs Element VTC system for plugged-in performance. The natural gloss finish is complemented by cream binding, matching Crest inlays on the 24-fret fingerboard and peghead veneer, plus a black–trimmed rosette. White TUSQ nut and Micarta saddle complete the hardware package, whilst the included British Cocoa Bronco Taylor Deluxe hardshell case provides road–ready protection.
