Create music with power and ease when you use this Akai MPK225 performance USB MIDI keyboard controller. This performance pad and keyboard controller uses 25 semi-weighted keys with aftertouch along with eight pads, eight assignable knobs, and multiple buttons to help you manipulate virtual instruments, effect plug-ins and DAWs. The full-size, velocity-sensitive keys have a natural feel with aftertouch, and additional banks expand the number of knobs, switches and pads you have available.

This keyboard controller comes with a powerful production software package that includes Ableton Live Lite and MPC Essentials. Use Ableton Live Lite to compose, record, remix, improvise and edit your musical ideas, and then incorporate MPC Essentials into your DAW for producing grooves and beats and triggering software, or use it as a standalone. MPC Essentials also adds pad banks, samples and insert effects to each pad. This controller contains two high-def virtual synths: AIR Music Tech's Hybrid 3, which combines warm analog synths with digital manipulation, and SONiVOX Twist, a spectral morphing virtual instrument.
