The Nord Electro 7 HP delivers three synthesis engines–Organ, Piano, and Synth–within a compact, stage–ready frame that prioritises immediate playability. Built by Nord in Sweden, this 73–key hammer–action instrument combines the organ and rotary speaker architecture of the Nord Organ 3 with an entirely new Synth Section featuring sample playback and dual synthesis methods. The result is a streamlined control surface with dedicated per–section effects, colour display, and physical drawbars with LED feedback.

The Organ Section runs Nord's latest transistor organ models alongside a redesigned rotary speaker with selectable microphone positions, independent slow/fast and stop modes. The Piano Section now includes Dynamic Compression and Unison controls for enhanced tonal presence. The Synth Section introduces analogue and FM synthesis pathways, mono and legato articulation modes, filter resonance, glide, ADR envelopes for amplitude and filter, and synth vibrato. Global effects comprise dedicated reverb with per–layer send capability, ring modulation, vibe circuits, and new Suitcase and Brit amplifier models, with compression available per–section or globally.

Live performance workflow benefits from an updated Programme Section featuring a high–resolution colour display and dedicated Live Mode for seamless sound transitions. Drawbar Live Mode enables real–time parameter control across both upper and lower manual presets, whilst push encoders throughout the instrument streamline programme selection and editing. The lightweight, roadworthy chassis supports extended touring setups without sacrificing synthesis depth or sonic flexibility.
