The FLkey 61 Mk2 is a dedicated MIDI controller co-developed with Image-Line, engineered specifically for FL Studio workflows. This 61-key instrument offers official integration with FL Studio 21.0.3 and later, providing mapped control over the DAW Channel Rack, mixer, transport, and pattern functions without manual MIDI mapping. Semi-weighted keys deliver piano-style response across five octaves, while the onboard 128 x 64 monochrome OLED display shows parameter feedback and workflow information during sessions. Hardware includes 16 velocity-sensitive RGB pads across two pages, eight endless encoders with dual page access, and nine faders with corresponding buttons for mixer control. The unit measures 895 mm wide by 263.5 mm deep, weighing 4.78 kg, and draws power via USB-C connection. Pitch bend and modulation wheels sit alongside dedicated transport buttons for Play/Stop, Record, Metronome, and Undo/Redo. Scale Mode provides 30 built-in scales, while Chord modes span Chord Map, Fixed Chord, and User Chord options. A built-in arpeggiator includes a step editor, and 5-pin MIDI output enables connection to external hardware synthesisers and drum machines. Custom DAW scripts deliver deep FL Studio integration, including direct access to the Channel Rack and Preset banks via dedicated buttons, Score Log/Quantise functions, and Pattern/Song mode switching. HUI compatibility extends control to other DAWs when working outside FL Studio. The controller ships with six months of FL Studio software and a 1.5 m USB Type-C to Type-A cable. A quarter-inch jack socket accepts sustain pedals for extended performance control, and a Kensington security slot accommodates studio installation requirements.
