Novation FLpad Mini Compact Grid Controller for FL Studio

Co-developed with Image-Line, the FLpad Mini puts hands-on FL Studio control into a compact 64-pad grid controller that fits in a backpack. This dedicated beatmaking surface from Novation combines step sequencing, live performance, and pattern creation in a single USB bus-powered unit with RGB-backlit velocity-insensitive pads arranged in an 8x8 configuration. The controller includes six months of FL Studio Producer Edition plus a bundle of instruments and effects from GForce, Klevgrand, and UVI, delivering immediate access to over 100 production tools without additional purchases. The grid handles Channel Rack sample triggering, four-instrument simultaneous step sequencing, and dedicated drum layouts for FPC, Slicex, and Fruity Slicer. Note mode enables chromatic or scale-locked melodic performance, while the integrated Graph Editor access allows velocity, pitch, and note repeat adjustments without switching views. Channel Rack Mixer mode transforms the 64-pad surface into touch-controlled faders. Seven mode buttons, two page buttons, two Channel Rack/octave buttons, and dedicated transport controls (Play/Stop, Record/Score Log, Undo/Redo, Clear/Tempo) provide project navigation and workflow commands. USB-C connectivity ensures class-compliant operation with Mac, Windows, and iOS systems. Novation Components software enables custom control layout creation beyond the factory FL Studio mappings. The included software package spans synthesis (GForce Oberheim SEM, OB-EZ, and AXXESS), processing (Klevgrand LUXE compression and saturation), drum production (Klevgrand Slammer with 30 kits, UVI Prime 8+ 808-style samples), and Melodics pad-performance lessons. The controller ships with a USB-C-to-A cable and features a Kensington Lock slot for secure setup in shared studio environments.
