Chauvet DJ GIGBAR3 3-in-1 LED Effect Light (Derbys, Pars, LED Strip) w/ ILS

The Chauvet DJ GIGBAR3 is a 3–in–1 LED effect light engineered for mobile entertainment setups that demand speed and flexibility. Built by Chauvet, a manufacturer known for practical touring gear, the GIGBAR3 combines derby lights, colour–wash pars, and an LED strip on a single bar, eliminating the need for multiple standalone fixtures. Its defining feature is Instant Light Show (ILS) technology—a wireless synchronisation ecosystem that allows operators to trigger automated programmes across multiple fixtures without running DMX cables.

The fixture houses 6 quad–colour RGB + UV LEDs in the par section (3.7 W each), 74 RGB LEDs in the integrated strip (5 W total), and 6 RGB LEDs per derby unit (3 W each), all rated for 50,000 hours. The built–in D–Fi transceiver operates at 2.412 to 2.484 GHz and communicates DMX or ILS signals wirelessly, eliminating cable runs. Control comes via the full–colour LCD display, included RF remote, wireless foot switch (433 MHz, 100 ft unobstructed range), or traditional 3–pin XLR DMX (2, 21, or 132 channels selectable). The tripod assembly spans 3.9 ft leg width and adjusts from 4.8 to 7.8 ft height; the unit power–links up to 11 fixtures on 120 V or 18 on 230 V, reducing cable clutter significantly.

The kit arrives production–ready with tripod, wireless foot switch, RF remote, and carry bags included, cutting setup time for venue changeovers. Up to 4 additional compatible fixtures can be mounted to the bar's top, allowing custom layouts without expanding the footprint. The reversible tripod bracket permits upside–down mounting for ceiling rigs or unconventional rigging scenarios, whilst the derby's 114° coverage angle and LED strip's 174° coverage angle ensure wide floor illumination from a compact frame.
