The XDJ-AZ inherits the layout and feel of the flagship CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9, providing an intuitive experience that feels like playing on professional club-standard equipment. With full-size jog wheels and a mixer layout optimised for playability, the XDJ-AZ allows for smooth pitch bending and scratching, enabling DJs to perform more creatively. It features user-friendly Beat FX assignment buttons for added musical expression, helping you master techniques that translate seamlessly to club setups.

DJs can access their cloud-based rekordbox library directly from the XDJ-AZ using CloudDirectPlay, allowing the latest playlists and performance data to be updated from the unit. This integration ensures a seamless DJ experience, making preparation and playback hassle-free from a single system.

The XDJ-AZ also supports StreamingDirectPlay, enabling users to play tracks directly from Beatport’s vast dance music library. This feature provides waveform, BPM, and grid information, allowing easy mixing of diverse genres into any set. DJs can also integrate external devices like turntables and samplers for a customised performance.

The 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen on the XDJ-AZ offers expanded visual information and control, displaying up to 13 tracks at once. Features like Playlist Bank, Touch Preview, and Touch Cue enhance track selection and navigation, allowing for rapid playlist management and previewing of upcoming sections of tracks without interrupting playback.

With support for 4-deck playback, the XDJ-AZ gives DJs the flexibility to add more layers to their sets, perform live mashups, or go back-to-back with other DJs. Seamlessly integrating with CDJs via PRO DJ LINK™, the unit keeps beat and on-air information synced across devices, enabling precise control in any performance setup.

The integrated SonicLink transmitter allows for ultra-low-latency wireless monitoring with the HDJ-F10 headphones. With a single button, DJs can pair the XDJ-AZ to enjoy 20 times faster wireless transmission than typical Bluetooth® SBC codecs, providing real-time, cable-free monitoring.

Additional upgrades include a 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology, significantly enhancing the audio quality for clearer, dynamic sound. The system’s three USB ports enable smooth handovers between DJs, while the single-unit design with grab handles ensures easy transport for professional use.
