At its core, the Discrete 8 Oryx features Antelope's latest AD/DA converters with up to 130 dB of dynamic range, combined with fourth‐generation 64‐bit AFC clocking for exceptional stereo imaging, depth and detail. Eight discrete Class‐A preamps, built with six‐transistor circuitry inspired by legendary console designs, deliver up to 75 dB of gain, ultra‐low noise and transparent capture of vocals, instruments and acoustic sources.

With 26 inputs and 38 outputs available simultaneously, including eight mic/line preamps, eight DC‐coupled line outputs, ADAT, S/PDIF, reamp outputs, monitor outputs and four independent headphone outputs, the Discrete 8 Oryx acts as a versatile hub for multi‐instrument sessions and hybrid studio setups.
