Having a dedicated monitor mix engineer can be expensive and running monitor mixing from FOH can be too demanding— neither of these is ideal. What if every musician could create their personal monitor mix with a small dedicated mixer on-stage? That’s what Personal Monitoring is all about! Save time and energy by giving the control to the musicians! Personal monitors also allow for built-in effects, improving sound; built-in microphones, improving both communication and immersion; All controlled with a simplified user interface.
Configuring personal monitoring systems has been clunky and time-consuming in the past, but no longer. All channels on P24 are transferred with their labelling from the console through AES50 or StageConnect; giving you the time to dial in your mix. Control each of the 12 stereo groups and mic input, using the 13 hardware faders on each personal mixer.
No matter if you’re using a single P24 to provide an artist’s mix in your studio recording room, or you’re deploying a large setup for an orchestra pit with several daisy-chained P24HUBs— setup and configuration is always a breeze. The P24HUB is the obvious choice for larger setups especially in touring applications. However, several P24 personal mixers can be daisy-chained without a hub. This is ideal when supporting smaller impromptu gigs.
P24 is designed from the ground-up to be intuitive— with its hardware faders there’s zero menu diving. Customise ’til your heart’s content with P24’s Panorama, Tilt-EQ and Limiter controls, creating the exact mix you need. For maximum ease-of-use, the P24 receives labelling and channel mode information directly from the console. Each channel is STEREO by default, but can also be set to MONO or DUAL MONO.
