Behringer SC16-O StageConnect Interface w/ 16 x XLR Line Outputs

Sixteen balanced XLR line outputs with ESS DAC conversion bring StageConnect digital audio back into the analogue domain in a single rack unit. The SC16-O pulls 16 channels from the StageConnect bus and delivers them as discrete balanced line outputs, ready to feed power amplifiers, monitor systems, broadcast feeds, or a second console without dedicating a full digital mixing desk to the task. Audio, control data, and 12 VDC / 18 W of remote power all travel down the same XLR cable, reducing the number of runs to pull and eliminating the need for local power supplies at every breakout point. The unit operates as either a StageConnect Host, providing word clock and bus power, or as a Client that synchronises to an external clock source from the StageConnect bus or the Ultranet input. StageConnect transmission runs at 44.1/48 kHz and 24 bits with sub-millisecond latency, carrying 32 channels of bidirectional audio over standard 3-pin XLR, DMX cable, or microphone cable for shorter distances. Ultranet input and output ports bridge SC16-O into Ultranet personal monitoring systems, allowing StageConnect audio to move between both formats without additional conversion. The interface also passes MIDI output commands from other Behringer StageConnect products, including the SC-U USB interface, so control, triggering, and sync signals travel on the same network.
