The kit pairs tom and snare mics—including the DM20 Gen 2 with cardioid response spanning 20Hz–20kHz and the SR25 Gen 2 supercardioid with extended presence peak to 25kHz—alongside the omnidirectional DM6 overhead condenser. New hardened active electronics reduce phantom power draw and introduce hot-swap protection, while revised rim-mounting hardware accelerates setup and teardown. The bundled SKB road case is lighter and more compact than its predecessor, with improved durability and pack efficiency.
