LD Systems ICOA SUB A PRO 21" Powered Subwoofer

The LD Systems ICOA SUB A PRO is a 21" powered subwoofer engineered to deliver massive low-frequency output while maintaining the compact footprint of an 18" cabinet. This 3 kW powerhouse employs a 21" neodymm woofer with a 4.5" voice coil and long-excursion design, producing bass response down to 29 Hz with a maximum SPL of 136 dB. Four large, flow-optimised bass reflex ports and a Class D amplifier rated at 1500 W RMS (3000 W peak) combine to create substantial low-end impact with tight, controlled response.

The onboard SysCore DSP offers FIR/IIR filtering, four-band parametric EQ, delay up to 50 metres, and three selectable crossover points (80 Hz, 100 Hz, 120 Hz). Control is via the colour display with single-knob operation or through the ICOA PRO app for iOS and Android, which enables wireless parameter adjustment, multi-speaker linking, and Bluetooth 5.1 audio streaming with TWS. Dual XLR inputs and outputs plus powerCON loop-through facilitate system expansion, while integrated stacking recesses and two M20 flanges allow horizontal or vertical rigging configurations.

The birch plywood cabinet measures just 562 mm wide—narrow enough to fit standard transport cases alongside typical Sprinter van configurations—and features a polyurea coating for tour-grade durability. Eight ergonomic handles provide secure grip points from every angle, and the optional ICOA PRO SUB CB dolly board simplifies load-in and strike. Preset modes include cardioid array and low-latency monitoring configurations, while a front-panel status LED provides visual feedback for limiter engagement during high-output operation.
