The Mackie THUMP15SV4 is a professional powered subwoofer built on decades of Mackie's loudspeaker engineering. At its core sits a 1400W Class-D amplifier paired with a 15” high-performance woofer, delivering 132 dB maximum SPL and extending down to 27 Hz. The cabinet combines rugged construction with 57.4 kg weight and built-in handles, making it genuinely portable for touring setups whilst remaining cabinet–solid during performance.
Four selectable high-pass modes let operators match the subwoofer's crossover to paired loudspeakers: dedicated presets for Thump12v4 (140 Hz), Thump15v4 (110 Hz), and Thump GO (150 Hz) models, plus a variable mode for custom settings on any system. All modes include 1.4 ms alignment delay to phase-lock the low end. Stereo XLR inputs accept signals from mixers, controllers, or other sources; stereo XLR high-pass outputs feed loudspeakers whilst full-range outputs allow chaining to additional subwoofers. Essential controls include phase invert, defeatable front LED, variable level control (muted to +6 dB), and mono/stereo summing for flexible deployment.
The cabinet accepts an M20 thread for the optional SPM400 speaker pole (sold separately), enabling pole-mounted loudspeakers to stack above the sub–creating a compact, floor-space-conscious PA system ideal for venues where footprint matters. Dimensions of 470 mm height, 561 mm width, and 584 mm depth suit compact rigs without sacrificing acoustic performance or connectivity options.
