Mackie's Thump15v4 is a 15" powered loudspeaker built for touring performers, bedroom producers, DJs and live sound operators who need serious output without complexity. The flagship of Mackie's latest generation, it combines 1400W of class-D amplification with a custom 1" compression driver and 15" low-frequency driver to achieve 130 dB maximum SPL and 34 Hz bass extension. The core innovation is SoundCheck DSP™, a suite of voicing modes and automatic setup features that adapt the speaker's character to its environment and application in seconds.

The Thump15v4 offers four selectable DSP voices: Flat mode delivers FRFR (full-range, flat-response) character ideal for guitarists and sound engineers shaping their own tone; DJ mode emphasises low-end punch for music playback and dance floors; Live mode optimises vocal clarity and midrange presence for speeches and performances; Wedge mode tilts the speaker into a stage monitor when placed on its side. Built-in instant setup features include Feedback Eliminator (suppresses microphone feedback automatically), Music Ducking (intelligently dims playback when you speak), and Outdoor mode (compensates for high-frequency loss in open air). The mixer section features dual XLR/TRS combo inputs, a 1/8" aux jack, and a balanced XLR output for daisy-chaining additional speakers. Bluetooth® streaming works simultaneously with analogue inputs and can link two speakers for stereo, zone or dual mono without cables; the Thump Connect 2 app controls all settings remotely.

Connectivity and portability round out the design. Premium metal handles make the 32.6 lb speaker portable for gigs, whilst M10 fly points enable suspended ceiling installation with optional eyebolt kits. The speaker accepts everything from microphones and DJ controllers to keyboard synths and guitar pedalboards, thanks to the integrated mixer. Optional pole mounts (T100 tripod) and subwoofer combos (Thump18Sv4 pairing via SPM400 pole) expand configuration options for permanent or temporary installations.
