Motu M2 2x2 USB Audio Interface w/ sE Electronics X1S Microphone & Clip

This bundle pairs a two-channel USB audio interface with a large-diaphragm condenser microphone, giving home recordists and podcasters a complete front end in a single package. The MOTU M2 runs ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC technology borrowed from the company's professional AVB range, delivering 120 dB dynamic range at the outputs. Two combo inputs accept mic, instrument or line signals, with individually switchable 48V phantom power for condenser operation. A colour LCD meter displays input and output levels in real time, and loopback routing captures computer audio alongside live inputs for streaming and podcast workflows. The interface connects via a single USB-C cable and draws bus power, so the desktop footprint stays minimal. The sE Electronics X1S supplies the mic half of the equation with a hand-built 1 cardioid capsule tuned to capture vocals, acoustic instruments and voice-over work. The cardioid polar pattern rejects off-axis sound from the sides and rear, keeping the focus on what's directly in front of the grille. A switchable pad offers 10 dB or 20 dB attenuation for loud sources, and two low-cut filter positions roll off subsonic rumble. The included mic clip mounts to any standard stand, and a single XLR cable runs from the capsule to the M2's front panel. MOTU Performer Lite recording software ships with the interface, covering the DAW side of the setup from day one.
