The sE Electronics X1S brings a 1 cardioid capsule to the front end, with switchable 10 dB and 20 dB pads for loud sources and two low-cut filters to manage rumble. Six combo inputs on the M6 accommodate mic and line-level signals without breaking the flow, and an A/B monitor switch toggles between two sets of speakers for mix referencing-a feature rarely found at this price point. Loopback channels route computer audio back into recording software for streaming or podcast production.
