The Neumann KH150 is a DSP-powered bi-amplified studio monitor engineered to deliver reference-class accuracy with extended low-frequency response down to 39 Hz. Built around a 6.5-inch high-precision woofer in a bass reflex cabinet and a 1-inch tweeter, this monitor employs Mathematically Modelled Dispersion waveguide technology to ensure consistent off-axis response and a wide sweet spot. Linear phase response from 105 Hz to 16 kHz with latency under 2.6 ms enables precise impulse reproduction and extraordinarily transparent midrange detail. DSP-controlled electronics deliver crossover filtering without the phase distortion inherent to analogue designs, while powerful amplifiers provide 145 W to the woofer and 100 W to the tweeter with independent soft clip, peak, thermal, and excursion limiters. Maximum SPL reaches 118.7 dB in half space at 1 metre, yet idle consumption remains just 17 W. Frequency linearity deviation stays within 0.8 dB between 100 Hz and 10 kHz across all units produced. Connectivity includes XLR analogue input, S/PDIF digital input and output, and fully redundant AES67 network ports compliant with ST 2110 and RAVENNA broadcast standards. The onboard DSP enables room-adaptive calibration via Neumann's MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system (sold separately), which compensates for acoustic anomalies and optimises the monitor for specific listening positions. Tonal compatibility with other KH line monitors allows the KH150 to integrate seamlessly into surround and immersive audio setups. Output level, EQ, and signal routing are adjustable via Neumann.Control software over RJ45 IP connection. This white-finish variant ships as a single monitor.
